A journey to the origins of Modern Yoga
“ENGAGING… COMPELLING… EVERYTHING YOU WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT MODERN YOGA” Daily Express
Special screening of the fascinating film from German director Jan Schmidt-Garre.
Yoga which is practiced daily by millions goes back centuries ago according to Indian tradition. But at the same time the yoga we know today originated in the early 20th century, a creation of Indian savant T. Krishnamacharya (1888-1989) who was the teacher of BKS Iyengar and Patthabi Jois. That story is far less known and is what this film is all about.
