IYENGAR YOGA COMPLETE ROPE SET – KURUNTA YOGA
YOUR OWN ROPE SET FOR COMPLETE IYENGAR YOGA PRACTICE AT HOME
Kuranti is a puppet, a doll made of wood. In Yoga Kurunta one learns to manipulate oneself in the various Yoga postures by means of a suspended rope as if one were a puppet.
Why are Iyengar yoga ropes used for yoga practice?
Yoga practice with ropes can develop agility, confidence and alertness. Variations of movement can bring freedom to joints and some more intense stretches can be safely experienced. Ropes can also be used for remedial (therapeutic) and restorative yoga.
WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE COMPLETE IYENGAR ROPE SET?
Two pairs of ropes (long and short) plus two pairs of eye bolt fixings and polyester mortar anchor (glue) – everything you need for yoga ropes practice except the wall.
HOW TO SET UP THE ROPES?
Download the PDF (courtesy of YogaMatters) for more information and detailed instructions on how to install the ropes on the wall.
