The Pilates Method was developed by Joseph H. Pilates in the 1920’s is often referred to as the art of Strength, Stretch and Control. It’s six principles: Concentration, Control, Centering, Breathing, Flow and Precision teach the body to move efficiently with minimal impact on the body.
WORKING WITH THE PRINCIPLES
In this workshop we will give in-depth attention to the method and experience how the principles work in important classical Pilates postures such as: the hundred, the ab series of five, roll-up, single leg circle and more!
We will focus on how to develop the exercises as you start to integrate the principles with extra focus on correct technique.
