This year, on our 8th Annual Spring Retreat, we are delighted to welcome you in one of Turkey’s best kept secrets. We will host our retreat in lovely boutique hotel, nested in a gorgeous hidden bay with a private beach on the Aegean Sea. Join us for a week of Yoga, beautiful nature, delicious healthy food, Sunshine, and of course, the one-of-a-kind Mediterranean Sea. The retreat is a week-long and designed to allow you enough time to deepen your yoga practice, detox and enjoy this beautiful region and its culture in the best possible time of the year.

THE SPECTACULAR REGION AND OUR HIDDEN BAY
Our retreat is located in near Kumlubuk, a small village on the Aegean Sea, just 25km from Marmaris, just below the ancient ruins town of Amos. This part of Turkey is stunning as it is held just between the high mountain ridges and the blue sea. The Aegean Sea is known for its crystal clear water with a fascinating dramatic coastline, forming one bay after the other.
OUR BOUTIQUE HOTEL AND ITS PRIVATE BEACH
We will stay and practice in a charming sea-side hotel wonderfully-situated on its own beach. The hotel has a sea-facing dining terrace, a swimming pool, and a quiet private beach. The entire hotel and all its rooms has a privileged view of the sea and beach.
THE HOTEL ROOMS
The hotel has only 22 rooms (all of which are unique and with sea view). There are standard double rooms with a balcony, as well as bigger and more pampering suites with additional living room for more space, privacy, or for sleeping children (wanna bring the kids over?). Prices of both rooms are below. To make sure you have the room type you want please sign up in advance and we will confirm availability ASAP. All rooms are lovely, with ensuite bathrooms and free wifi.
DATES & TIMES
The retreat will take place from Saturday to Saturday on the first week of June (2-9). Just before the heat of July and the holiday wave of tourism. We think it’s the best time of the year.
Arrival and check in are on Tue May 29 (from 14:00). We will welcome you and give you all the information you need to settle. You can get comfortable in your room, take a dip in the pool, relax on the beach, explore the area and join us for a meet & greet early evening at our welcome dinner. Departure and check out is on the following Tuesday June 5 in the morning.
YOGA RETREAT PROGRAM AND DAILY SCHEDULE
We’ll start the day in the morning (WED-MON*) with an extra-long Iyengar yoga class with Asaf. The yoga program is designed to develop and deepen your yoga practice in any level of practice. We will focus on different yoga subjects and pose groups each day in a gradual and highly personal manner. Each morning class is a mini workshop.
After the morning class we will meet for a rich and healthy Mediterranean brunch together and set off on our day. You will have ample free time during the day to go to the beach, explore the nature and villages around, or just relax by the pool with a good book. We will offer joined (optional) activities such as hiking, sailing, horseback riding, nature walks etc…
In all evenings, except Wednesday, we will enjoy a 2 hour restorative yoga class where we will also learn Pranayama, yoga philosophy and practices of mindfulness and centring awareness. We will end the days with a joined dinner.
*Wednesday is a free day for you to travel and rest. There will be a regular morning yoga class and earlier brunch. As in all days, the yoga shala will be available for self-practice or meditation throughout the day.
REACHING OUR YOGA RETREAT IS EASY & AFFORDABLE!
We advise to search for flights with Skyscanner or Momondo for best options to any of these airports (inc with low cost airlines). We also advise to search with big tour operators such as Tui, Arke, and Corendon, who offer regular charter flights of their own.
From either Dalaman or Bodrum airports there are many options like sharing a taxi (we will help you with that if you land in similar times with other students). Another great option is renting a little car. It is by far the best way to travel and explore this little piece of heaven we’re staying in. Its often quite easy sharing a car rental between few students so we hope we can help you with that too if you need. The roads are good, safe, and quite spectacular to drive in.
PRICES AND OFFERS
The package price include 7 nights of accommodation, the full Yoga program tuition, all brunches and dinners. Transportation costs and transfers are not included, as well as insurances of any kind. We highly recommend that you arrange yourself a good travel insurance at home, that includes cancellations of all kinds.
