Yoga Kurunta means working with ropes. A Kurunta is a puppet, made of wood. You learn to manipulate yourself in the various yoga postures by means of suspended ropes as if you were a puppet.
In this workshop we will explore deeper practice through a variety of poses using the wall ropes. With this aid you will experience how to open the joints, lengthen the spine and strengthen the core of your body. Furthermore your understanding of alignment will improve and your inversions and back bends will become more accessible as ropes are very effective in improving our yoga practice!
DEVELOP AND DEEPEN YOUR PRACTICE
Our yoga workshops provide a chance to practice yoga on a deeper level in a holistic way, connecting the physical and the organic body through yoga Asanas, each time with a different theme or subject matter. In addition we take the time to touch upon breathing or meditation techniques and inquire into different philosophical aspects of yoga that are at the heart of our practice.
*This workshop is limited to 10 students only. Pre-registration is a must! Sign ups are in order of actual payment.
