Integrating breath and motion
In this special theme class we practice various dynamic sequences of poses in a continuous (flow) way to build stamina, strength, balance, and mental concentration.
We aim to introduce a new concept of Iyengar yoga practice – stability in mobility. We will learn and practice sequences of poses and movements where breath and motion are totally integrated so our involvement with the practice becomes both physiological and mental. Through such practice we can slowly open and develop the body in new ways.
What to expect?
Expect to move, to sweat, to breath a lot, to feel more and think much less. There will be less instructions than in normal class to encourage a physiological flow, heat creation, and balance in motion. Therefore, to make the most out of these classes we recommend a good foundation of Iyengar yoga which can be attained in our regular Iyengar Yoga classes.
Asaf is a dedicated Yoga practitioner and a long time mind-body explorer. In his teaching Asaf brings together physical yoga asana practice with stimulating non-dogmatic philosophy to create a conscious experience of presence and living wisdom in the body and in the heart.
